The 10 Most Cesarean-Happy States in the U.S.



Alabama’s 30.1% low risk c-section rate in 2014 dropped a bit from 31.2% in 2013. The state’s total c-section rate is quite high at 35.4%. The Alabama Department of Public Health reports a dismal 4.0% VBAC rate for 2013.
