Monday, November 17, 2008 at 2:57PM
9 lbs., 10 oz. “Hospital - unfortunately”
Mother’s Height: 5’6” - 130 lbs pre-preg, 170 at delivery
How was your pregnancy?
DO NOT listen to a doctor who claims to be “VBAC Friendly” unless they have statistics to back that claim.
Easy, both pregnancies very healthy. 1st was overdue by a week (hence the failed induction) 2nd Baby came 3 days early.
How did you feel about your upcoming birth?
Horrific anxiety because I knew my doctor was trying to cut me open again - but insurance would not let me escape him.
Description of your birth experience:
Here is my VERY long birth story. It was a roller-coaster that cannot be summarized in a few short words.

How did you feel after the birth (first month)?
Thrilled every moment because I was able to VBAC
How did you feel six months after the birth?
STILL thrilled every moment because I was able to VBAC - but also angered because of what my doctor put me through.
What did you learn from this birth?
One can never be too prepared or have too much information when it comes to childbirth.
Any words of wisdom to impart?
