How was your pregnancy?
Fine. This was my second child. My first child was 8 lbs 10 oz, 21 ¼ inches, and 16 inch head circumference. I did have an incident at eight months when I fainted at a store. I think it was due to being that pregnant, tired, and hungry, but I had to have an EKG and MIR and see a neurologist. They didn’t find anything wrong with me.
How did you feel about your upcoming birth?
Just the usual anxiousness nothing unusual.
Description of your birth experience:
My water broke at 7:55 pm and our daughter was born at 11:23 pm. I had no clue that I had just given birth to a ten-pound baby. I think the doctor was just as surprised. The worse part was getting a bad anesthesiologist with getting my epidural. None of the doctors I was with ever discussed me having a c-section or inducing labor.
How did you feel after the birth (first month)?
Great! Better then the first time.
How did you feel six months after the birth? One year? Now?
Good.
Any words of wisdom to impart?
You bounce back quicker from the second birth. I didn’t feel that bad for giving birth to a ten-pound baby. What was even more interesting is that there was another lady that gave birth to an eleven-pound baby and she had a c-section.
