How was your pregnancy? Very easy... at 36 weeks i was told that my baby was measuring small and went to the hospital once/week for NST and u/s

How did you feel about your upcoming birth? I felt ready and excited. i was so ready to meet my little one

Description of your birth experience: I labored at home for 8 hours, went to the hospital and was 5cm. I eventually got to 10 cm and started pushing. i pushed for 1.5 hours, episiotomy, failed forceps attempt and then ended up having an emergency c-section under general anesthesia & woke up 2 hours later.

How did you feel after the birth (first month)? Sore, tired, emotionally separated from my son and husband

How did you feel six months after the birth? One year? Now? Better. it took about 6 weeks to feel better. now at almost 10 months post partum i feel much better and hopeful for my next delivery

What did you learn from this birth? I need to find a doctor that was pro-vbac and didn't want me to just schedule another c-section

Any words of wisdom to impart? Know your dr's c-section rates before choosing them!
