Two Inspirational Birth Stories: Jenny and Amanda

The most recent birth stories posted are Jenny’s stories and Amanda’s story.

Jenny shares the stories of her son and daughter, who both weighed more than nine pounds at birth. Her first birth is a hospital birth on the Fourth of July with an impatient doctor asking her three or four times if she could break her water. In contrast, her daughter was born calmly at home.

Amanda had an emergency c-section for her first son, who weighed ten pounds. Her doctor assured her that the c-section was inevitable because of his size. She went on to have a VBAC with Dr. Wonderful and recently welcomed a 10 pound, 4 ounce baby to the world!
