419 women who have never had a cesarean before checked into Nacogdoches Medical Center in 2011. These women did not experience a pregnancy with an abnormal presentation (such as breech), a pre-term delivery, fetal death, nor were they carrying more than one baby. 89 of them were sectioned, or 21.24% of them. The mean hospital charge, which does not include charges by physicians, midwives and/or other specialists, was $24,429. [Uncomplicated primary cesarean rate]


 


593 women who have never had a cesarean before checked into Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital in 2011. These women did not experience a pregnancy with an abnormal presentation (such as breech), a pre-term delivery, fetal death, nor were they carrying more than one baby. 79 of them were sectioned, or 13.32% of them. The mean hospital charge, which does not include charges by physicians, midwives and/or other specialists, was $5,704. [Uncomplicated primary cesarean rate]

88 women with a previous cesarean checked into Nacogdoches Medical Center in 2011. These women did not experience a pregnancy with an abnormal presentation (such as breech), a pre-term delivery, fetal death, nor were they carrying more than one baby. One of them had a vaginal birth, or 1.14% of them. The mean hospital charge, which does not include charges by physicians, midwives and/or other specialists, was $21,935. [Uncomplicated VBAC rate]


 


141 women with a previous cesarean checked into Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital in 2011. These women did not experience a pregnancy with an abnormal presentation (such as breech), a pre-term delivery, fetal death, nor were they carrying more than one baby. 25 of them had a vaginal birth, or 17.73% of them. The mean hospital charge, which does not include charges by physicians, midwives and/or other specialists, was $8,363. [Uncomplicated VBAC rate]
